Version 2.0 of EasyHost has the following requirements:
A web server that allows Perl/CGI scripts
Perl 5.6.0 or above with the DBI and DBD::mysql modules
Access to an empty MySQL database
Download EasyHost
easyhost_free.zip (6 KB)
Upload EasyHost
Extract the 3 files in easyhost_free.zip on to your computer.
Upload them using FTP in ASCII mode to your CGI-BIN directory or any directory that allows CGI execution.
If you are hosted on a Unix server, CHMOD the files with the following settings:
755 easyhost.cgi
777 easyhost.conf
644 easyhost.setup
Note: Click on any of the numbers if you're not sure what they represent.
Continue Installation using the Setup Wizard
Simply open up your browser to the easyhost.cgi URL to complete installation.
Example: http://www.domain.com/cgi-bin/easyhost.cgi
